How long will it take to obtain my certification?

We offer a full online virtual training certification program for our trainers. This program can take 6-8 weeks depending on your time commitment. We provide our trainers with a strategic guideline to obtain their certification. We also offer in-person training throughout the year.

What other fees associated with being a trainer beside the initial fee?

There is an annual renewal fee of $1500 due each year. You are responsible for product wholesale costs if you plan to sell self-defense products.

I’ve never been in business before; do you have support?

Yes, you will receive business development guidance. As a Certified Instructor you will receive support from one of our Instructor Coordinators.

Do you help obtain customers in my area?

Yes. We understand it will take some time for you to perfect the newly learned system. We offer business development and initial launch support to help jumpstart your business.

Do I need a facility in place before I get certified?

Most of our trainers do not have a brick and mortar facility. We encourage partnering with local gyms, churches, dance studios or even going to nearby park to teach your classes. The benefit of offering classes at an established facility is the low startup cost and the ability to attract their current following.

My life is busy. What time commitment is required?

We understand you have a busy life. Divas In Defense offers extensive training and online resources for you to learn at your own pace. You schedule classes and events based on your own schedule. We only require that you provide classes when you can.

How much money can I make teaching classes?

The sky is the limit. You control the amount of classes you teach in your area. We will assist you in setting a goal and developing an action plan to make the money you desire.

Are Divas In Defense® classes only for men?

Most of our classes are only for women and girls. We offer a corporate training class called, Divas In Dudes to accommodate corporations which cannot separate training based on gender. In addition, we will allow some private group classes to allow men and boys.

Am I able to teach both women and girls?

Yes. As a Divas In Defense® Instructor you are able to teach both women and girls classes. We provide all our instructors with both training materials and resources to conduct classes for both.

I am ready to sign up. What are my next steps?

Complete our online application and submit your certification fee payment. One of our Training Coordinators will contact you to conduct an initial Instructor Interview.

What happens after I sign up?

You will receive a call from one of our Training Coordinators to conduct our initial Training Interview. After acceptance, you will receive a Welcome Packet via email and mail. This will include our Certification Instructor Manual, Online Training Portal registration, Business Basics Manual and much more. You will also receive our Certification Roadmap to use
as a guide to complete your Certification.
